The field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is the place to be in, for those who love working with electrical systems - ranging from heavy power generators to the smallest of micro-chips. This stream involves the design, manufacture, installation, operation and management of electrical systems that underpin modern economies and contribute to improving the quality of life. The EEE Department at our institution prepares students in this field using new-age information and computer-intensive technologies.

    ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES
    1. Association of Electrical & Electronics Engineering for the academic year 2010 – ’11 was inaugurated on 23.07.2010 by the chief Guest Er.V.Sankaranarayanan, Former Additional Chief Engineer, TNEB, Chairman, Power Engineer Society, IEEE Madras Section. On the same day, the guest lecture on “Gas Insulated Substation” was given by the Chief Guest.
    2. Association of Electrical & Electronics Engineering arranged for a guest lecture on “Electrical Drives and Control” on 26.08.10 by Prof.K.Narayanan EIE Department, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai.
    3. AEEE and IEEE student branch conducted a National level one day seminar on “Energy Management in Recent Trends” on 18.09.2010 by Resource person Dr.V.Saravanan Assistant professor /EEE Thiyagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai.
    4. AEEE conducted ELECZY ’10 (A wing of TRENTECH) a National Level Students’ Technical Symposium on 28.09.2010.The chief guest for the Inaugural Function was Dr.S.Vincent, Member Secretary Tamil Nadu State Council for Science & Technology Chennai & the chief guest for the Valedictory function was Dr.R.Dhanasekaran Principal, Syed Ammal Engineering College, Ramanathapuram.
    5. Association of Electrical & Electronics Engineering arranged for a guest lecture on “Electro Magnetic Theory” on 14.10.10 by Prof.R.Subasri EIE Department, Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai.
    6. Association of Electrical & Electronics Engineering plans for a guest lecture on “Control systems ” on 09.02.11 and the valedictory of the association will be on 30.03.2009.
